I have recently been learning to pop shuvit (around a couple of weeks I have been focussing on it). My friend showed me a good tip to learn them which I recommend to others (go to a corner and hold onto two things like a corner rail at a skatepark and perform the trick and hold yourself up in the air until the trick is complete then land it and keep on progressing). Anyways, I can land two footed whilst doing that but when I try doing it without holding onto anything, I land it one-footed (front foot) and my other foot falls straight to the floor. I have tried jumping higher but that jst causes my deck to flip.

Sorry for a bad explanation and please respond!! :D

I used to always practice tricks holding onto bars! It does feel like it helps but it really doesn't, I would practice more without the rails and try to really focus on what happens to your back foot. With a lot of tricks theres no easy quick way you can learn but I know from experience that holding on to stuff can do more harm than good! Post up a video when you get it!

Something I've been trying of late is seeing where my feet land and working on where I need to position them in the air to get them back in the right place. It can be kind of awkward getting it so both your feet are in the right place, but once you've found the sweet spot you'll have them down
