Native decks always lasted me a while...
Native decks
Native Blanks
I had a blank from there and it lasted a while, but then after that I bought this bad boy:

It lasted me AGES and I learnt tre flips on 'em as well as lots of other stuff. I recommend them greatly..pretty nice shape on 'em too

Ooo, Nice thread.
For my next deck I'm going to get a Death or KillCity. Any preference for which one?
I've had both before but preferd the Death, the KillCity was a second hand.

How good are the blanks? Becuase my foundation deck is nearly dead and I need a new deck but for a good price!

With a budget of £55 you can pretty much get almost any board you like, from personal experience id avoid flip.
Blueprint are good, i think they source the wood from somewhere different as recently ive noticed the quality of the boards are really good.
East make good decks, as do third foot landscape and herion, all of which you should be able to get for under £40 giving you a bit left over for some bearings or maybe factory second wheels.
You could save more money by buying a blank, if you do so avoid fracture/route one and go for a southstar if theyre available near you.
With us brands your pretty spoilt for choice, but avoid china wood if you can and go for a company that uses canadian maple.
Ive been skating habitat decks back to back for ages now, i cant fault them really, nice size, shape, weight ,concave and kicks.. pretty much perfect for me but they might not be to everyones taste. Same applies to alien workshop.
I quite like baker too, theyre strong but a little on the heavy side for some.
Plan B decks are shit hot im told, havent skated one myself but every one who has, has had good things to say about them. Again, theyre the same wood as habitat/alien workshop.
Hopefully this may (or may not) have been some use to you

if i was you i would go for a more known company board, as the quality should be alot better, i currently am riding a habitat, they've got a lovely pop, got me catching kickflips alot higher than with the deck before hand, as for the tail, its still in good shape, only worn down by one ply up to now but thats probably due to how much i accidently scrape the tail, it is almost not affected at all by boardslides, apart from a natas spin i did on some bricks, the corner of the bricks scraped it then.it actually has a really nice concave too.
